A world
with no heroes

Ubisoft

What if a video game was a world of its own, able to exist on its own before the players turned on their console?

A few weeks before the launch of the game Ghost Recon Wildlands ™, DDB Paris decided to create this fantasy. Welcome to “A World With No Heroes”.

Dive into the heart of Ubisoft’s biggest open world ever, even before players arrive. Between beautiful landscapes, bombings, persecutions and guerrillas, discover a systemic and autonomous world day and night.

50 surveillance cameras broadcasting more than 8 hours of exclusive videos of the game, distributed on the map of Ghost Recon Wildlands ™ revealed in preview and reconstituted in 3D real-time.

This unique digital experience allows you to discover a fictional Bolivia under the yoke of the Santa Blanca Cartel. Beyond an original story made exclusively with the game engine, the site “A World With No Heroes” also focuses on data visualization, offering a second map revealing data on cocaine trafficking, money laundered by narco traffickers, and the cost of a human life.

“A World With No Heroes” offers a unique and immersive experience that plunges the user into the midst of a cocaine robbery story. Through several cameras, he is asked to retrieve information on the 3 main factions of the game: the Santa Blanca Cartel, the rebels of the militia Katari 26, and the corrupt military force of Unidad.

Ghost Recon Wildlands ™ embarks the player in a fictional Bolivia corrupted by a drug lord: El Sueno. Alone or in team, the player will have to carry out several missions concerning drug trafficking and the Santa Blanca Cartel.
